UNUSED BENEFITS
As we near the end of the year, we want to remind all of our patients to take advantage of any unused dental benefits and/or flexible spending accounts. Every year you receive a maximum amount to be used, and in most cases the unused portion of this amount is lost when the new insurance year starts. If you have been postponing dental treatment, such as crowns and bridges, now is a great time to have it completed!

OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD
At this time of year, many employers offer an open enrollment period, during which employees are allowed to change dental insurance policies. The policies are all different, and you need to carefully consider the new policy's exclusions, limitations, and waiting periods which apply to new customers. It is also very important to find out if your dentist is a preferred provider with the new policy.  We are not making any changes to our preferred provider status with any companies at this time. While we are happy to treat all patients and will file claims with all insurance companies, Drs. Christina Congo and Tiffany Dean have chosen to continue preferred provider status with the following dental insurance companies:Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee
